We're delighted to have you visit our website.

All Saints C.E. (C) Primary School & Nursery provides a christian, caring community where all individuals (children and adults) are respected and valued

The support of the staff and governors for its Christian foundation is reflected in the priority given to the spiritual development of all in the school community. Christian values are built into the ethos and teaching of the school. Children are welcome whatever their parents’ beliefs.

All Saints C.E. (C) Primary School & Nursery enjoys an attractive location and seeks to enhance and care for its environment.

The school works in close partnership with the Church, local schools and the wider community and so provides a focal point for the village and surrounding district.

All Saints C.E. (C) Primary School & Nursery is a co-educational Church of England School under the control of the Staffordshire County Council Education Committee.

We cater for pupils between the ages of 3 and 11 years (Nursery, Reception and Years 1 to Year 6).

About Us Section

British Values

We promote British values both within and beyond the classroom and these values are at the heart of our ethos. Here are just some of the ways our school seeks to embed the teaching of British values.

‘Sowing the Seeds of tomorrow; growing in the light of the Lord’

Our curriculum is carefully planned so that children learn about examples of democracy throughout time and across the world. Our curriculum driver of ‘Our Place in the World’ focuses on how we treat one another and the importance of everyone’s voice. Children have regular opportunities to express their opinions and views through Pupil Voice and circle times. They also participate in democratic votes to select their class representatives.

Our Curriculum

We have created an ambitious curriculum, which at its heart has the aim of giving all children, especially vulnerable pupils, the knowledge and cultural capital they need to fulfil their unique potential. We have identified 6 core skills, which are threaded throughout our curriculum, that children develop across each subject.

The children become experts at applying these skills through the lens of each subject. In addition to this, the carefully sequenced and progressive knowledge, culminates in ambitious preparation for KS3 and also later life.

Our motto is ‘Beginning, Becoming, Belonging, Believing’ (our four ‘Bs’) which summarises the learning journey that our children will embark on during their time with us. This journey will result in proficient readers, writers and mathematicians, who have a sound understanding of technology and who are creative. In order to achieve this, we have identified clearly defined curriculum drivers (rooted in our Christian values) which underpin each unit of work.
