All Saints C.E. (C) Infant School, Ranton, Staffordshire

We seek to give the children a wide range of learning experiences, which will guarentee success in meeting the aims of the school and the requirements of the National Curriculum.

All Children in Year 1/Year 2 work towards, or within Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum.

The Reception Class children follow a special Early Years Curriculum which covers six specific areas of learning:

Personal, social and emotional development
Communication, language and literacy
Mathematical development
Knowledge and understanding of the World
Physical development
Creative development

Organisation

Children are taught in two separate classes under the care of full time teachers who have responsibility for their education and welfare.

Class 1 – Foundation Stage, (Nursery and Reception) currently shared.
Class 2 – Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2).
