At All Saints, we take great pride in the sporting opportunities we offer our children. We believe that school sport and physical activity is important to children for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Physical health: Sport helps children develop strong bones and muscles, improve their cardiovascular health, and maintain a healthy weight.
  • Mental health: Sport can help children reduce stress, improve their mood, and boost their self-confidence.
  • Social skills: Sport can teach children teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship.
  • Life skills: Sport can help children develop discipline, perseverance, and time management skills.

Our efforts have been rewarded through the Platinum Games Award - an incredible achievement for our school!

Plans for 2026-2027:

At All Saints Church of England Primary School and Nursery, we are incredibly proud to celebrate achieving the prestigious, national Platinum School Games Mark! This elite award represents outstanding, sustained excellence in physical education and sport over consecutive years, celebrating our long-term dedication to keeping our children active, healthy, and engaged. We want to reassure our school community that despite upcoming changes in the PE and Sport Premium funding landscape and the transition to the new PE and School Sport Partnerships Network, our unwavering commitment to providing outstanding physical activities remains entirely unchanged. We will continue to passionately deliver daily active minutes, targeted extracurricular clubs, and positive, inclusive competitive opportunities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport for every single child.
